Cajun pasta


Ingredients 

1 lb of fettuccine 

1 lb peeled & deveined shrimp

Essence Creole Seasoning (find one grocery story by seasonings)

1 package of andouille sausage

1 cup diced onions 

1 cup diced green peppers 

2 tablespoons minced garlic 

1 cup chicken stock

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon dried thyme

1 tablespoon dried basil

1 1/2 cups grated Parmesan cheese


Cooking instructions


Cook fettuccine noodles (when done drain & set aside) 

Season shrimp with creole seasoning and sauté in pan until almost done (use olive oil)

Remove shrimp & set aside

Sauté onions & green peppers (3 mins)

Add sausage to pan (cook 1 min)

Add garlic to pan (cook 1 min)

Add chicken stock (cook 1 min)

Add thyme, 1 tablespoon of creole seasoning, 1/2 teaspoon of salt (cook 2 mins)

Add heavy cream (cook 2 mins)

Add shrimp & pasta (cook 5 mins or until sauce thickens)

Add basil & Parmesan cheese
